PSG’s NEN E Cell launched an Innovation Club this E Week that aims to develop technopreneurs. “Since we are a technology institute, many of us work on innovative projects which have lot of potential in solving India’s key problems. However, we don’t know how to develop the project into a commercial venture. The I Club within our E Club will help technocrats become technopreneurs,” shared E Cell Secretary G Ramachandran, who himself turned his solar lamp project into a startup, Laperz, after he joined the E Cell three years ago.
The I Club will run workshops on fund raising and patenting laws, facilitate networking with experts, VCs and Angels, and help students build business plans.
